Terms and Conditions

Important Legal Notice: These Terms and Conditions govern the engagement between Sachan Tutorials, Parents/Students ("Clients"), and Tutors ("Educators"). All users are strongly advised to review these terms with independent legal counsel before finalizing contractual or tutoring engagements.

1. Nature of the Service

"SACHAN TUTORIALS" operates as a managed educational matching bureau facilitating the introduction of independent home tutors to parents and guardians for Classes 1 to 12. Sachan Tutorials is not a school or university and does not confer academic degrees, grades, or certifications.

2. Masked Lead Privacy & Regulated Matching

To protect student and family privacy under the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, student inquiries submitted through Sachan Tutorials are displayed on the educator portal in masked form only. Educators can only view academic requirements (class, subjects, board, broad locality, mode, budget).

Full contact information (student name, guardian name, telephone, WhatsApp, exact residential address) is disclosed solely and strictly after:

  • An educator submits an Expression of Interest via the Teacher Portal.
  • Sachan Tutorials administrators manually verify teacher qualifications and approve the match (strictly capped at up to 3 approved teachers per lead).

3. Parental and Minor Consent

Where tuition is sought for students under 18 years of age ("Minors"), a parent or legal guardian must provide consent and be present at the residence during home-tuition sessions. Clients agree to maintain a safe, respectful, and family-accessible study environment for all educators.

4. Trial Demo Session & Teacher Replacement Window (Strict 1–2 Day Policy)

Every new student match is entitled to an initial trial demo session (spanning one to two days) at the student's residence or online to evaluate teaching methodology, subject comprehension, and mutual compatibility.

Replacement Notice Deadline: If the parent or guardian is not satisfied with the assigned educator, they must formally notify Sachan Tutorials within twenty-four to forty-eight hours (maximum 2 days) from the completion of the demo session to request a replacement tutor.

Deemed Finalization: In the absence of an explicit replacement request or written dispute submitted to the bureau within this strict 1–2 day window, the assigned educator shall be deemed definitively approved, accepted, and finalized by the client, and the agreed regular tutoring schedule shall commence.

5. Mandatory Advance Tuition Fee & Bureau Disbursal Policy

100% Advance Payment Mandate: All monthly tuition fees must be remitted in advance directly to Sachan Tutorials prior to the commencement of regular tutoring sessions. Parents, students, and guardians are strictly prohibited from paying tuition fees directly or in cash to the educator for the inaugural tuition cycle.

Bureau Retention & Educator Disbursal: Sachan Tutorials collects the full advance payment, issues a formal digital receipt, retains its standard matching bureau fee (one-time 50% commission applicable to the first month only), and disburses the educator's earned compensation directly from the bureau's end according to the agreed schedule.

Subsequent Months: Month 2 onwards, 100% of the tuition fee is payable to the educator with zero ongoing bureau royalties or renewal deductions. Any off-platform financial transactions attempting to bypass the bureau during the placement cycle nullify all replacement guarantees.

6. Non-Circumvention & Purpose Limitation

Educators and clients mutually agree not to circumvent, bypass, or privately contract with each other with the intent of avoiding bureau recording or commission dues. Unlocked student contact details must be used strictly for tuition coordination and never shared with third parties or coaching institutes.

7. Limitation of Liability & Academic Disclaimer

While Sachan Tutorials audits teacher qualifications and identity documents (Aadhaar/PAN), academic results depend on individual student effort, school assessments, and exam conditions. Sachan Tutorials disclaims any warranty of specific marks, percentiles, or exam rankings.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
